About the Company

John T. Kilcoyne, Chief Executive Officer and President
John T. Kilcoyne brings more than 29 years of experience in the medical device market to RVO. He has a demonstrated record in understanding the needs of both patients and physicians combined with an ability to move companies from development into the commercial market.
Most recently he served as Chairman and CEO of Micrus Endovascular Corporation, until its sale to Johnson & Johnson in September 2010. Mr. Kilcoyne also previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Solace Therapeutics, a medical device company from 2002 to 2004. Prior to Solace, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Endonetics, Inc. from 1997 until its acquisition by Medtronic in December 2001. Before joining Endonetics, he served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and New Business Development at Medical Scientific, Inc.
Mr. Kilcoyne received his B.S. from Cornell University.

Louis Bunn, Chief Financial Officer
Louis H. Bunn has over 15 years experience as a senior financial executive with development-stage medical device companies. He was instrumental in raising in excess of $100 million in venture equity and debt as well as being actively involved in developing and implementing strategies for growth and maximizing shareholder value.
Most recently, Mr. Bunn was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration of 3F Therapeutics, Inc. a company that focused on tissue heart-valve products. 3F Therapeutics, Inc. was acquired by ATS Medical, Inc. in September 2006.
Previously, Mr. Bunn was Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of EndiCOR Medical, Inc. a company specializing in coronary catheter products. The company was acquired by Ev3, Inc. in 2002. Prior to EndiCOR, Mr. Bunn served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SenDx Medical, Inc., a critical care diagnostic equipment company, which was acquired by Radiometer in 1998.
Prior to this, Mr. Bunn was Senior Audit Manager with Ernst & Young. Mr. Bunn has a BA in Business Administration from San Diego State University and is a certified public accountant.

Lynne Archer, Clinical Affairs
Lynne Archer has over 25 years experience in the field of clinical research. For the past 17 years, Ms. Archer has been exclusively involved in ophthalmic clinical research. Most recently, as Vice President of Clinical Science at Eyeonics, where she was responsible for developing and implementing the clinical strategy and was instrumental in obtaining the first FDA approved accommodating IOL.
Prior to Eyeonics, Ms. Archer was the Ophthalmic National Study Director for Pharmacia. While at Pharmacia Ms Archer was instrumental in the approval of the first FDA prostaglandin drug, Xalatan, for the treatment of glaucoma.

Keith Holliday, Vice President of Research & Development
Keith Holliday has a strong background in solving optical problems in both industrial and academic settings. In his role as Director of Laser Technology at Advanced Medical Optics (and at VISX prior to AMO's acquisition), he contributed to the advancement of AMO's portfolio of laser refractive products, including the development of laser hardware, laser system control algorithms, optical measurement devices and surgical procedures.
Prior to joining VISX, Dr. Holliday had worked primarily in academia. He obtained his first degree in Physics and Electronics from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and a Ph.D. from the Laser Physics Centre at the Australian National University. He spent three years at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, where he was primarily involved with the utilization of optical materials, both polymers and crystals, to develop very high density, holographic, optical storage and computational systems. At the University of Strathclyde in Scotland, Dr. Holliday was a faculty member at the Optical Materials Research Centre where he led a group of scientists primarily investigating high gain and broadband laser gain media.

Robert C. Colloton, Vice President, Marketing and Sales
Mr. Robert C. Colloton, 52, joined us in March 2010 and is our Vice President, Marketing and Sales. From March 2005 to December 2010, he held the position of Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing for Micrus Endovascular, a neurovascular device company that was acquired by Johnson and Johnson. From February 2003 to March 2005, Mr. Colloton served as the Vice President, Account and Market Development of VNUS Medical Technologies, Inc., a medical device company.
Prior to this position, he also held the positions of Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and International Sales from April 2001 to February 2003 and Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing from June 1999 to April 2001, at VNUS. From June 1997 to June 1999, Mr. Colloton served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing of TransVascular, Inc., a medical device company. From January 1993 to June 1997, he served in various sales and marketing executive positions at Cardiometrics, Inc., a medical device company.
Mr. Colloton received his B.S. in Business Administration at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Gregg Plambeck, Vice President, Operations
Gregg E. Plambeck has over 30 years experience in the field of medical device Operations, R&D and Quality. His combined strong technical, management and leadership skills has resulted in consistent achievement of operational excellence and building significant corporate value in both large and small medical device businesses.
Recently, Mr. Plambeck served as Associate Director of Operations at Alcon Research prior to joining RVO. His successful 16 year track record at Alcon included development, introduction and production of new products in addition to enhancement of existing surgical products and production processes for global ophthalmic markets. Prior to Alcon, Mr. Plambeck served as Director of Engineering at Pancretec, a medical device company specializing in ambulatory infusion system subsequently acquired by Abbott Laboratories.
Mr. Plambeck has a BA in Biology/Medical Technology from California State University, Fullerton and holds several patents in the field of medical devices.
